Steve! South Park question...

I'm sure you are aware of the south park figures that mirage has starting putting out. As far as I can tell, their figures are essentially made the same way McF had wanted to make them - lots of different characters and in a large scale. So I was wondering, did the license holders ever ask McF to make the figures again? And if not, were you disappointed that someone else got to make the figs pretty much the same way McF was aiming to (of course, I'm not talking about detail or anything, just the size and character diversity)?

...they wanted BIG figs and just the main 4 or 5 (howmanyever) characters and we wanted small figs, but all the characters.

...who the hell has the room for cookie jar sized figure, anyway?

ah, O.K., I see...for some reason I thought THEY had wanted small figs and you guys didn't. Tis a shame, either way...McF's figs were much better.

What happens to prototypes like that? I remember you guys had a ton of the characters made and pictured in the online toy fair feature that year. Do you even bother keeping them, or do you take turns smashing them to pieces in a fit of rage? [img]wink.gif[/img]

I love cartoon figures, but McF never seemed like a cartoon figure company to me........

then again the Shrek stuff was great!


I would like to see another WTWTA style line, though...........
